December 1, 2012

Twenty years have passed
Since the first time we met,
Though the first time is fuzzy.
We seem to forget.

The first time’s unimportant,
It’s the times since that matter.
You’ve gotten more beautiful,
While I’ve just gotten fatter.

You’ve become such a woman;
So loving and caring.
A wife and a mother,
Your virtues are glaring.

You’re a teacher, a great cook,
You’re the most charming hostess.
You’re a chauffeur, a nurse, a doctor,
You’re the mostest.

You’re quick with a joke,
Or a laugh if you hear one.
Even when you’re drinking,
You’re still lots of fun.

My world would be poorer
If you’d never met me
My wonderful friend,
I love you, sweet Kristy.
